The Great Tree Inn - and Stables is a Country Inn and working farm where every guest reservation made is both important and special to us.
Deposit: All reservations require either a credit card or deposit in the amount of one nights room, plus tax.
Minimum stay requirements are indicated on the reservation calendar.
Reservation confirmation: When you successfully submit a reservation request, we will contact you within 24 hours via e-mail to confirm your reservation. If you do not hear from us within 24 hours please call us at (800) 421.0082.
Cancellation: If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least twenty-one days (summer) and ten days (off-season) prior to your arrival date for a cheerful refund of your deposit less a $20 processing fee. Should you cancel with less than twenty-one days (summer) and ten days (off-season) notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made. We do not over-book reservations, so we must adhere to our cancellation policy.
The Great Tree Inn reserves the right to cancel a reservation for room and services if:
1. The reservation is not secured with a payment in the amount of one night's stay.
2. In the opinion of the management of the Great Tree Inn, such a reservation would endanger security or the public reputation of the Inn.
3. In the opinion of the management of the Great Tree Inn, actions on the customer's part give justifiable cause to do so and which, in the opinion of the management, could result in disturbing the harmony and tranquil atmosphere for other guests.
In the event of such cancellations, the Great Tree Inn will refund any payments already made.
Pets: Well groomed and well behaved small pets are permitted by prior arrangement only and are limited to certain areas of the Inn only.
No smoking in the Inn.
Children: For safety reasons and for the comfort of our guests, only children age 13 or older can be accommodated. Parents must supervise their children at all times and keep them from running, jumping, and shouting while inside the Inn. Unsupervised children may not be be anywhere in the proximity of the dogs, farm animals and horses. Climbing onto farm equipment, trees or any fencing is not permitted.
Mobility and medical issues: We are NOT wheel chair accessible and stair climbing is required. There is one step from the driveway to the ramp leading to the deck and entrance, one low sill to the entrance from the deck, six steps on the stairs to the landing and another eleven to the first floor. We do not have an elevator. The 7th Heaven is the only guest room on the ground floor. As a result, accommodation on the first floor of the the Inn is NOT suitable for those with mobility or medical issues and who have difficulty climbing stairs.
Rates: Rates and policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and for some special requests.
Check-in: Rooms are available after 3:00 p.m. Early check-in to drop off bags can be arranged. We suggest all guests telephone ahead on the day of arrival to confirm their specific check-in time.
Check-out is 11 am.
Taxes and Service Charge: A Sales Tax of 7.5% and a Room Tax of 5% plus a Service Charge of 10% in lieu of gratuities, will be applied to all charges.
Key replacement: There is a $20 charge if keys are not returned.
Other charges: If necessary, and at the sole discretion of the owners of the Inn, the replacement value of spoiled linen and repair of damaged property will be debited to guests, even if such should be discovered after the guests have checked out.
No Smoking Environment: The Inn is a non-smoking environment. Should smoking occur within The Inn, a charge will be assessed for the appropriate restoration of the surroundings and any lost revenue from areas deemed to be non-rentable as a result of smoke contamination until such time as they can be properly cleaned and deodorized. The minimum charge will be seventy-five dollars per guest room.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Items: The Inn will NOT be responsible for lost or stolen items.
